Vivo India has announced on twitter that Android 10-based FuntouchOS 10 update for vivo V17 is now rolling out. FuntouchOS 10 update has software version 6.10.4 and will bring all Android 10 goodies to vivo V17.
A couple of months ago Vivo has shared a roadmap for Android 10-based FuntouchOS 10 update, but Vivo V17 and V17 Pro were not appeared on this schedule. Some many users of these devices were asking question about that to vivo support team. Now vivo has surprisingly announced that Vivo V17 users can now download install Android 10-based FuntouchOS 10 update.
Vivo V17 is driven by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC that is shocking because it is the same process vivo has used in entry-level Vivo U20 device. Vivo V17 ships on one 8GB/128GB variant, but users can expand storage using microSD card. Additionally, it sports dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, USB-OTG and is even eligible for Widevine L1 DRM for HD video streaming in Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
How to Check & Install Android 10 FuntouchOS 10 Update?
Vivo is roll out Android 10 FuntouchOS 10 update for Vivo V17 in patches and only limited users will get it at that time. If you didn’t receive update notification then you can check it manually by going to “Setting >> System update”.
