Apple has released Stable iOS 13.5 GM and iPadOS 13.5 GM firmware for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Stable iOS 13.5 & iPadOS 13.5 update includes Exposure Notification API, Faster unlock via Face ID when wearing masks, other improvements and bug fixes.
Exposure Alert API in stable iOS 13.5 & iPadOS 13.5 is designed by Apple and Google and it enables health agencies to develop COVID-19 contact tracing apps. It is not an application itself but an API allowing everyone to create applications that can exploit it functionality. The functionality is fully free, at least with applications that specifically utilize the API but it is worth mentioning that not all contact tracking apps support this API and do thus not support from the protection and privacy capabilities of Apple and Google.

Apple has also enhanced prominent features in FaceTime video calls with Stable iOS 13.5 GM & iPadOS 13.5 GM update. This will enlarge the video tile of the person who is speaking while the other video tiles will remain the same size. Users can also disable this feature from setting though.
