
Samsung is now rolling out Galaxy S9 & Galaxy S9+ May 2020 patch update globally. The May 2020 security patch update comes with a build number G965FXXS9DTD7 for Galaxy S9+ and G960FXXS9DTD7 for Galaxy S9.
Samsung Galaxy S9 & Galaxy S9+ were launched in March 2018 and they were the leaders of Android smartphones at that time. Both the devices were running Android 8 out of the box and has already received their 2nd major software update in the form of OneUI 2 skin based on Android 10. Galaxy S9 & Galaxy S9+ are powered by a powerful Snapdragon 845 processor with integrated Adreno 630 GPU.
Samsung is pushing Galaxy S9/ S9+ May 2020 patch update in phases and some users have to wait for little longer before they can grab their hands around the May 2020 patch update. Currently most Asian users are getting update notifications, while European users are still unable to receive the update except the Germans users who are reporting the arrival of May 2020 patch update for Galaxy S9/ S9+.
How to Install Galaxy S9/ S9+ May 2020 patch update?
If you are Galaxy S9/ S9+user and didn’t get the notification for May 2020 patch update yet. Then you should check the OTA update manually by going to “Settings > Software update > Download and install”.
