CoolStar has announced that Chimera13 Semi-Untethered Jailbreak will be released to general public in the honor of late @s0uthwes. The deceased was a beloved and skilled jailbreak web developer, who died recently while dealing with untreatable aggressive leukemia.
@s0uthwes always wanted Chimera13 Jailbreak an open-source project, but couldn’t live to see it happen. Now CoolStar aims to make this possible in remembrance of the @s0uthwes’ memories by releasing jailbreak utility for iOS 13.0-13.3 devices publically.
Chimera13 semi-untethered jailbreak would probably implement Sileo as the main package manager and either libhooker or Substitute as tweak injector, but the end user will also be able to use alternate package managers such as Zebra other than Sileo.
Despite the release’s purpose, would you use Chimera13 jailbreak for your iOS 13 devices when it kicks off? Or will you be going to start using different jailbreak tools, including unc0ver and checkra1n?
